Yes you can remove the installer if you like. Out of curiosity why would you remove it?

HIyou might have said this but i really dont understand technical terms. i live in south america. i want to buy an iphone in an apple store in the US. is the contract for at&t made at apple? when i plug it in, will itunes force me to do the contract before letting it update. ughh you explained it really well its just i dont want to get back to chile and it be like ‘NO! AT&T ONLYYYY’ and not be able to stick my sim card in it.???

Nope there is no need to give AT&T any money or sign any contracts.

i downloaded this program and it worked but it took up half of my available memory, is there any way to get some of it back?

The program will only use System memory, which can not be bigger than 300MB, and can not be used for media even if not used. Please make sure the space is not being taken by music and videos. You can backup the phone, and restore it to see after unlocking you will have a clean empty phone.
