Full StoryDragon Search – iPhone App Review
Dragon Search (Free) Version – 1.1.0 REVIEW – “A new way to search the web!” There have been several apps released into the App Store to help you find things on the internet. Most of them have been sponsored/designed by specific websites in order to make their services easier to use. Dragon Search has taken a whole new angle and merged several different website searches into an extremely easy to use interface! While the interface of this app is definitely very good what really makes this app it’s the excellent “Dragon Dictation” engine that is used to allow you to actually speak your search queries! When you open up the app you are greeted by a small record button in the center of the screen. Once you touch the button all you have to do is speak whatever words it is that you want to search for and press the “Done” button.

Full StoryRedEye – iPhone App Review
RedEye (Free) Version – 1.1.1 REVIEW – “Goodbye remote control, hello iPhone!” Today I’m proud to be bringing you one of the most revolutionary apps available for the iPhone/iPod Touch platform! RedEye by ThinkFlood, Inc. is able to turn your iPhone or iPod Touch into a full-fledged remote control that can control any infrared device in your household! An important disclaimer before I go any further with this review: it is important to note that this particular app requires an infrared transmitting iPhone dock that is available at Thinkflood.com for $188 shipped. This price is very reasonable however when you consider how much you would pay for a remote control with a full-fledged touch screen interface! The RedEye app works by communicating with the aforementioned iPhone dock. What this means is that while the initial price may be a little bit steep you will not have to have to have a piece of hardware connected to your iPhone or iPod touch for it to work because all of the communication is done by using your device’s built in WiFi capability! This means you could potentially have unlimited devices that could easily be used to control your RedEye system

We the People – Citizen’s Almanac is an app that catalogues a great deal of documents and information that will help you to understand America and the values that started it. Whether you are tired of trusting what other people say about history and want to check it out or you are looking to find specific information, you should definitely check this app out! The first thing that I’d like to point out is that this app did not used to be free so whether or not you really are convinced yet I would encourage you to go ahead and download it before the price goes back up! Now that I’ve got that out of the way on to the app itself. Once you open up this app you will see a very brief loading screen and then you will be taken to the last place that you had the app open to. The interface of the is easy to navigate and when you open it up for the first time the main screen will tell you how to control it. Tapping in the center of the screen will open up the menu and touching it again will take it away so you can use the entire screen for reading. The top bar has the name of the document you are viewing, as well as the section you are in and then a “Bookmark” button in the upper right corner. This allows you to easily mark certain sections for future reference. The menu at the bottom of the screen has several different navigation options. The “Chapters” mode will give you a overview of all the material that is covered. This will be the favorite of people that are wanting to read up on this kind of information for the first time because it kind of allows you to find information by theme.
